Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our Signs and Displays division. This role will be crucial in driving sales growth and establishing strategic relationships with key clients in diverse industries. You will leverage your expertise in visual merchandising and signage solutions to develop innovative sales strategies, mentor a high-performing team, and achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and revenue for the Signs and Displays division
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and drive business objectives
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within the signs, displays, or related industries
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and signage solutions
Preferred:
- Experience in managing a remote sales team and implementing effective remote working strategies
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Background in digital marketing or e-commerce related to signage products
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track and manage sales pipelines
- Familiarity with design software relevant to signage and displays (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Understanding of data analytics tools to assess sales performance and market trends
