Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary Head of School to lead our educational institution into the future. As the Head of School, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring academic integrity, and embodying our mission to inspire and empower every student.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic educational vision that aligns with the school's mission and values
- Oversee the academic program, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across all grade levels
- Lead and support faculty and staff in their professional development and performance evaluations
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging school culture that promotes student success
- Engage with the school community, including parents, alumni, and local organizations, to build strong relationships and support
- Manage the school’s budget and resources effectively to enhance educational programs and infrastructure
- Implement policies and procedures that ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in education, with significant leadership experience in an academic environment
- Proven track record of successful strategic planning and program development
- Strong understanding of curriculum design and instructional best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Education or a related field
- Experience leading a school through accreditation processes
- Familiarity with current educational technologies and innovative teaching methods
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in management software and educational technology platforms
- Understanding of data-driven decision-making and educational assessment tools
