Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roof Truss Supervisor to join the team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Implement and refine production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste while maintaining high safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review truss designs and provide necessary feedback for manufacturability.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in truss production, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement to ensure timely availability for production needs.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, labor hours, and safety incidents to inform continuous improvement efforts.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in roof truss manufacturing or a related field, with a proven track record of supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of roof truss design, fabrication processes, and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Preferred:
- Experience with CAD software and truss design software.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in construction or manufacturing management.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of manufacturing equipment, tools, and machinery used in roof truss production.
- Experience with inventory management systems and quality control methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
