Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic VP of Regional Sales to lead our dynamic sales organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across multiple regions, developing and executing sales strategies, and fostering high-performance sales teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment on company goals while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy that aligns with overall business objectives and drives revenue growth
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, providing guidance on best practices and performance metrics
- Drive the sales pipeline through effective prospecting, qualifying, and closing of deals with key clients
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers to understand their needs and drive satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and potential challenges
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on go-to-market strategies and ensure product-market fit
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed targets
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in regional sales leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that drive significant revenue growth
- Strong understanding of CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation
Preferred:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Experience with SaaS or technology solutions is a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of sales methodologies and tools, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
- Proficiency in data analysis and sales forecasting techniques
- Familiarity with digital marketing and lead generation strategies
