Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Broadcast Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working in a broadcast engineering role, with a deep understanding of television and radio transmission systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing RF systems and related equipment.
Preferred:
- Experience with digital broadcast systems, including ATSC and DVB standards.
- Familiarity with IP-based broadcast workflows and media over IP technologies.
- Certification in relevant technical areas (e.g., SBE certification).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment such as transmitters, encoders, decoders, and routers.
- Proficiency in using broadcast automation systems and monitoring tools.
- Experience with signal processing and audio/video codecs.
