Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Online Education Coordinator to manage and enhance our online learning programs. This role will focus on developing engaging educational content, leveraging technology to improve learning outcomes, and collaborating with faculty and students to optimize the online educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement online courses that promote active learning and student engagement.
- Collaborate with faculty to curate and develop course materials that align with learning objectives.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of online learning programs through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
- Provide training and support to faculty and staff on best practices in online education and technology use.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in online education.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in online education or instructional design.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technology tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience with multimedia content creation and educational video production.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards in online education.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in LMS platforms such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
- Experience with data analysis tools to assess educational outcomes.
