Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Nurse Consultant to join our innovative healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to drive patient-centered care initiatives, develop evidence-based practices, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance health outcomes across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical guidance and consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans based on best practices and patient needs.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality of care and patient safety, utilizing data and feedback to inform practice changes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development through mentorship and training of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and enhance patient care protocols and procedures.
- Engage in research and evidence-based practice to contribute to clinical guidelines and policy development.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Active RN license with advanced practice credentials (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist).
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including experience in a consultative role.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience in healthcare leadership or management.
- Certification in a clinical specialty area.
- Proven track record of implementing successful patient care initiatives.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports to track patient outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Familiarity with telehealth technologies and their application in patient care.
