Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Brokerage Manager to lead our dynamic team in delivering exceptional mortgage solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing brokerage operations, driving sales performance, and fostering a culture of excellence and compliance within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the mortgage brokerage team, setting clear performance expectations and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including lenders, real estate agents, and clients
- Analyze performance metrics and financial reports to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in mortgage brokerage or related financial services, with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in team management and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience in a managerial role within a high-performing brokerage environment
- Proven ability to drive sales and achieve business objectives
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Mortgage Broker License) are a plus
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in mortgage origination software and CRM systems
- Ability to analyze financial data and produce detailed reports
- Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards
