Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Metal Tank Erection Supervisor to oversee the assembly and installation of metal storage tanks. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that all erection projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating with various teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the erection of metal tanks, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and engineering specifications.
- Lead a team of skilled workers, providing guidance and direction throughout the erection process.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites, ensuring adherence to quality standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Assist in resolving any issues that arise during the erection process, employing problem-solving skills to maintain project timelines.
- Train and mentor crew members on proper safety procedures and best practices in installation techniques.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in metal tank erection or related field.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a construction or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to tank erection and construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Preferred:
