Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Medical Sales Director to lead our sales team in revolutionizing the healthcare landscape. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy that aligns with company goals and market trends
- Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including physicians, hospitals, and medical organizations
- Analyze market data and sales metrics to identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure sales alignment and effective product positioning
- Monitor competitive activity and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations for strategic planning
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in medical sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a sales management role
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulations, market dynamics, and customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
Preferred:
- Experience in launching new medical products or services
- Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Established network within the healthcare community
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with data-driven sales methodologies and techniques
