Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Meat Department Manager to lead our meat processing operations. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for overseeing the department's performance, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and driving operational efficiencies. Responsibilities

- Conduct regular inspections of meat products to ensure compliance with health regulations and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor the meat department team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and sales, to align on product offerings and market trends.
- Analyze departmental performance metrics and implement best practices to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in the meat industry, with a proven track record in management or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and meat processing standards.
- Experience in inventory management and supply chain logistics within the meat sector.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or a related field.
