Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Assistant Professor of Manufacturing Engineering to join our esteemed faculty. This role will focus on advancing research and teaching in the field of manufacturing processes, systems, and technologies. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate courses in Manufacturing Engineering

- Publish findings in reputable journals and present at industry conferences to enhance the visibility of the department
- Supervise and mentor students in research projects and academic pursuits
- Collaborate with industry partners to align educational programs with current manufacturing trends and workforce needs
- Contribute to departmental and university service activities, including curriculum development and student recruitment
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related field
- Demonstrated research experience with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Proven ability to teach and engage students effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Industry experience in manufacturing or related sectors
- Experience with online or hybrid teaching methodologies
- A track record of securing research funding and leading collaborative projects
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, robotics, and additive manufacturing technologies
- Familiarity with software tools for simulation and modeling in manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and statistical process control
