Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nail Salon Manager to lead our fully remote team in delivering exceptional nail care services and customer experiences. In this role, you will oversee salon operations, manage a skilled workforce, and ensure high standards of service quality while fostering a collaborative and engaging remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a remote team of nail technicians and support staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company standards
- Develop and implement operational workflows and best practices to enhance service delivery and efficiency
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and mentoring to promote professional development
- Manage inventory and procurement of supplies, maintaining appropriate stock levels and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as sanitation standards, to guarantee a safe working environment
- Engage with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular virtual meetings to align on goals, share updates, and drive team cohesion
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial role within the beauty or wellness industry
- Proven track record of managing remote teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and salon operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with salon management software or scheduling tools
- Certification in nail technology or cosmetology
- Background in customer service or sales
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Trello)
- Proficient in using salon management systems for scheduling and inventory tracking
