Role Overview

Responsibilities

- Manage production teams, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high-performance standards and a collaborative atmosphere.
- Implement and enforce production policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Oversee post-production processes, including editing, sound design, and visual effects, to maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate potential production risks, proactively solving challenges that arise during the production lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and talent, negotiating contracts and managing expectations to achieve successful outcomes.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in film/television production with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proven expertise in budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building effective teams.
- Strong understanding of production processes, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
Preferred:
- Experience with diverse content formats, including scripted, unscripted, and digital media.
- A network of industry contacts, including talent agents, production houses, and vendors.
- Familiarity with advanced production technologies and software tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in production management software (e.g., Movie Magic Scheduling, Showbiz Budgeting).
- Strong understanding of camera, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Knowledge of editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer) and visual effects tools.
