Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Systems Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the development and implementation of information systems strategies that support our organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency. You will gain hands-on experience in systems planning, design, and analysis while contributing to impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing organizational needs and identifying opportunities for improving information systems
- Support the planning and execution of systems development projects, ensuring they align with established timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and document system specifications
- Participate in the testing and validation of new systems and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of system processes, configurations, and updates
- Contribute to the development of training materials and user guides for end-users
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Recent graduate with a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic understanding of systems analysis, design, and implementation methodologies
- Familiarity with database management systems and data modeling concepts
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
- Internship or project experience related to information systems planning or IT project management
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Understanding of information systems and database management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
