Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Immunochemistry Manager to lead our innovative team in developing cutting-edge assays and technologies that drive advancements in therapeutic drug development. This fully remote position allows you to collaborate with scientists and stakeholders globally, ensuring the successful execution of immunoassays and the delivery of high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic planning, development, and validation of immunoassays to support drug discovery and development programs
- Lead and mentor a team of scientists, fostering a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards throughout assay development and implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biostatistics, clinical operations, and regulatory affairs, to integrate immunochemistry data into broader project goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in laboratory processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and data integrity
- Present findings and updates to senior management and stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in immunochemistry
- Proven track record of leading assay development projects in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting
- Strong expertise in various immunoassay techniques, including ELISA, ECL, and flow cytometry
- Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in a laboratory environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading teams and managing laboratory operations
- Familiarity with automated liquid handling systems and high-throughput screening methodologies
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at scientific conferences
- Knowledge of biomarker discovery and validation processes in drug development
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R, Python)
- Experience with assay development software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and experimental design
