Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysical Survey Manager to lead our geophysical survey operations at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Develop and implement innovative geophysical survey methodologies, including seismic, magnetic, and electrical techniques, to support resource exploration and assessment.
- Supervise field teams during survey execution, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and data quality standards.
- Analyze and interpret geophysical data, providing clear and concise reports that inform decision-making processes at various organizational levels.
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate geophysical data with geological models and enhance resource evaluation.
- Lead post-survey evaluations to continuously improve survey methodologies and project efficiency.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- MSc or PhD in Geophysics, Geology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in managing geophysical survey projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong technical expertise in geophysical techniques, data acquisition, and interpretation.
- Proficiency in geophysical software (e.g., Oasis montaj, GeoSoft) and data analysis tools.
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced geophysical technologies such as UAV-based surveys or 3D seismic imaging.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance related to geophysical surveys.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of geophysical survey techniques and equipment, including ground penetrating radar (GPR), resistivity, and seismic reflection.
- Proficient in data processing and interpretation software, including MATLAB or Python for advanced data analysis.
- Experience with GIS tools for spatial data analysis and visualization.
