Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Furnace Mason Supervisor to lead our skilled masonry team in the installation and maintenance of industrial furnaces. This role is critical in ensuring the structural integrity and efficiency of our furnace systems, directly impacting operational performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of furnace masons, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and high-quality workmanship.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of furnace linings, including refractory materials and insulation.
- Conduct regular inspections of furnace structures to assess condition and identify necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge of furnace masonry techniques.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute furnace refurbishment projects, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and team performance metrics.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in furnace masonry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of refractory materials, installation techniques, and furnace operations.
- Proven ability to lead teams, with excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with various furnace types, including induction, blast, and cupola furnaces.
- Certification in refractory installation or related fields.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in working with refractory materials and furnace construction.
- Proficient in using masonry tools and equipment, including trowels, grinders, and laser levels.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.

Location
