Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of EEO Compliance to lead our commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace through compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our organization adheres to federal, state, and local laws, and in implementing best practices that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee EEO compliance policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and organizational goals.
- Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with EEO regulations and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and executive teams to ensure that all employment practices are free from discrimination and bias.
- Lead training and development initiatives to educate employees about EEO policies and promote a culture of inclusivity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for EEO inquiries, investigations, and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on EEO compliance status, metrics, and strategic initiatives.
- Stay informed on changes to EEO laws and regulations, proactively adjusting policies and practices as necessary.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in EEO compliance, human resources, or related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local EEO laws and regulations.
- Experience conducting compliance audits and investigations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in human resources, law, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in HRIS and compliance management systems.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting software.
- Understanding of training and development technologies for employee education.
