Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Regional Early Head Start Director to lead and oversee the implementation of comprehensive early childhood education programs. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic direction of our Early Head Start initiatives, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness in supporting young children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional strategies for Early Head Start programs, ensuring alignment with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance metrics, utilizing data to drive strategic decision-making and program enhancements.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to promote family engagement and access to resources.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between regional teams and central administration.
- Facilitate training and support for staff on best practices in early childhood education and family services.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree in early childhood education, human services, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in early childhood education, including supervisory or leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Head Start regulations and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven program evaluation.
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse populations and in community-based settings.
- Familiarity with early childhood curriculum development and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with community partners.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data management systems and performance tracking tools.
- Experience with program evaluation methodologies and reporting.
