Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Cost Accounting to join the finance team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices, as well as financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to drive change and improve processes within a finance function.
Preferred:
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in cost accounting software and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
