Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will support the development and execution of communication strategies that effectively convey our brand message and engage our audiences. You will be responsible for crafting compelling content across various platforms, managing internal and external communications, and assisting in the implementation of marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and distribute various types of communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and social media content that align with our brand voice and messaging
- Coordinate and manage communication campaigns and promotional activities across digital and traditional platforms
- Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies that enhance our brand visibility and engagement
- Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support the planning and implementation of internal communications to ensure alignment and engagement across teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing roles
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing systems
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred:
- Experience in creating and executing communication strategies in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools for measuring communication success
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Experience with social media platforms and content management systems
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website management
