Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Citrix Consultant to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix environments that provide robust and secure virtual desktop solutions for our clients. You will leverage your expertise to enhance user experience while ensuring optimal performance and security of the Citrix infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Citrix solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring high availability and performance
- Conduct assessments of existing environments to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Provide expert support for Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Citrix solutions with other IT systems and applications
- Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Provide training and support for end-users and IT staff on Citrix functionalities and features
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Citrix solutions design and implementation
- Strong understanding of Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud
- Experience with VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, and networking concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot complex Citrix issues and provide effective solutions
- Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) or higher certification
Preferred:
- Experience in a consulting role with client-facing responsibilities
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and hybrid cloud environments
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in Citrix technologies and solutions
- Experience with VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and application virtualization
- Knowledge of security best practices for Citrix environments
- Understanding of monitoring and reporting tools for Citrix performance

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
