Role Overview
We are seeking an innovative and passionate Head Chef De Froid to lead our culinary team in the creation of exquisite cold dishes. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to culinary excellence and creativity.
Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership:
- Design and develop a seasonal menu focusing on cold dishes, ensuring each item is visually appealing and meets the highest culinary standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of chefs, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Recipe Development and Innovation:
- Create and test new recipes, exploring innovative techniques and flavor profiles to elevate our offerings.
- Incorporate seasonal and local ingredients, driving sustainability and freshness in every dish.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to the team and adapting menus accordingly.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the procurement team to source the best ingredients while managing cost and quality.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create engaging content that highlights our culinary expertise and drives customer engagement.
- Provide regular training and workshops to the culinary team, enhancing skills and knowledge in cold cuisine.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of professional culinary experience, with a focus on cold cuisine or related specialties.
- A proven track record of leading a culinary team and managing kitchen operations effectively.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Preferred:
- Culinary degree from an accredited institution or relevant certifications.
- Experience in menu development and cost control.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
