Role Overview
We are seeking a Detail-oriented and strategic Detailing Manager to oversee our detailing operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our detailing services consistently meet the high standards expected by our customers while driving operational efficiency and team development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the detailing team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational excellence
- Develop and implement detailing processes and best practices to enhance service quality and efficiency
- Monitor team performance metrics, providing coaching and feedback to team members for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align detailing operations with overall business goals
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge regarding new techniques and technologies
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring that all detailing supplies are stocked and in optimal condition
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution to maintain customer satisfaction
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automotive detailing or related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of managing teams and improving operational performance
- Strong knowledge of detailing techniques, products, and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience in a hybrid working environment and managing remote teams
- Certifications related to automotive detailing or management
- Experience using software tools for team management and performance tracking
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in detailing equipment and products
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of quality control metrics and reporting tools
