Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Detail Leader to oversee and manage security operations for high-profile clients. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of individuals and assets through strategic planning and execution of security protocols, while leading a team of security professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to enhance team effectiveness and response capabilities.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and threat analyses to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary to ensure seamless communication and response during incidents.
- Monitor security systems and technologies, ensuring they are functioning optimally and effectively mitigating risks.
- Provide regular reports to stakeholders on security operations, incidents, and improvements, fostering transparency and trust.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in security management or executive protection services, with a proven track record of successfully leading security operations.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and crisis management protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in security management or executive protection (e.g., CPP, PSP, or similar) are highly desirable.
Preferred:
- Experience in high-stakes environments (e.g., corporate executives, celebrities, or government officials).
- Knowledge of current security technologies and systems, including surveillance and access control systems.
- Military or law enforcement background is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in security management software and tools for monitoring and reporting.
- Experience with physical security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control technologies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess security threats and develop strategic responses.
