Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to oversee and enhance our information security program at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Responsibilities

- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security best practices into business operations and technology solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, continuously adapting strategies to counteract potential risks.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information security or a related field, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, tools, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
- Proven experience in incident response and crisis management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience managing security compliance audits and assessments.
- Familiarity with cloud security and securing SaaS applications.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in security architecture and design, including experience with identity and access management (IAM).
- Knowledge of network security protocols and encryption technologies.
- Experience with risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
