Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in creative direction within the apparel industry
- Demonstrated success in leading design teams and launching successful apparel collections
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work and innovative design solutions
- Exceptional understanding of garment construction and fabric sourcing
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred:
- Experience with sustainable fashion practices and materials
- Knowledge of digital design trends and e-commerce best practices
- Strong network within the fashion industry, including relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep knowledge of fashion design principles, including color theory, typography, and visual composition
- Proficiency in creating technical specifications for apparel production
- Experience with digital design tools and technologies for fashion
