Exterminator Cover Letter Examples

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Exterminator position at Rentokil Initial Mexico. As a licensed pest control technician with five years of hands-on experience treating residential, commercial, and agricultural sites across Mexico City and surrounding states, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company known for high safety standards and integrated pest management practices.

In my current role at Control Ambiental MX, I perform inspections, diagnose pest infestations, and implement targeted treatments using both chemical and non-chemical methods. I have successfully reduced call-back rates by 40% over two years through thorough inspections, customized treatment plans, and follow-up visits. I am certified in safe pesticide handling and fumigation (SENASICA-recognized training) and experienced with rodent control, termite baiting systems, bed bug heat treatments, and insect growth regulators. I also trained and supervised a team of four technicians, improving response times by 25% and maintaining 98% compliance with safety protocols and protective equipment use.

What draws me to Rentokil Initial Mexico is your emphasis on environmentally responsible solutions and customer education. I strongly believe in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) — using monitoring, exclusion, sanitation, and least-toxic interventions first — because it protects public health and yields longer-lasting results. My bilingual communication skills (Spanish/English) and experience preparing clear treatment reports and prevention plans help build client trust and reduce repeat infestations. I am committed to continuing professional development and staying current with technologies and regulations used by industry leaders like Rentokil and Terminix to deliver measurable improvements in property protection and client satisfaction.

I would welcome the chance to discuss how my technical skills, safety-first approach, and track record of reducing recurrence can support your team. Thank you for considering my application; I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to Rentokil Initial Mexico's mission of safe, effective pest management.

Sincerely,
María López
