OurClient

Our client is a growing CFO and accounting services firm supporting values-ledorganisations.

YourResponsibilities

• Australian Compliance & Payroll

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring compliance with Australian standards, including Superannuation and PAYG.

• Prepare and process Business Activity Statements (BAS) and ensureaccurateGST treatment for all transactions.

• Xero Management & Bank Reconciliation

• Maintain the integrity of the Xero system through daily bank reconciliations andtimelyresolution of reconciling items.

• Ensureall supporting documentation is attached and categorized correctly within the software.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Process high-volume accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices and billing cycles.

• Manage theremittancemailbox and proactively follow up on aging debt tomaintainhealthy cash flow.

• Operational Accounting Support

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and provide data-driven summaries to support the senior accounting team.

Your Background

• At least 3 years in aBookkeeperrole within a similar SME or business environment, with hands-on, practical exposure.

• Expert-level Xero knowledge is essential.

• Strong working knowledge ofAustralian Payroll, GST, and BASrequirements.

• Analytical reporting, logical thinking, and high-volume data accuracy.

• Proactive "business-first" mindset, team player, and meticulous attention to detail.
