Role Overview
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation processes to support reliable and scalable application delivery. This role works closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
Configure and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using logging and monitoring tools
Implement security best practices across pipelines, infrastructure, and deployments
Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and environment-related issues
Collaborate with software engineers to support application lifecycle and release management
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operational processes
Required Qualifications
Experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools
Understanding of networking, security, and system administration concepts
Nice to Have
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch)
Experience supporting microservices-based architectures
Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications
