You’ll help shape Waymark’s content and creative presence — spanning social, video, and digital storytelling — and play a key role in how we show up as a brand. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll plan, create, and distribute content that builds awareness, supports go-to-market initiatives, and drives engagement with prospects and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the content calendar across key channels — including social, blog, website, email, and newsletters — with a strong focus on video storytelling.
- Create and publish standout content in multiple formats: posts, videos, case studies, blogs, and marketing resources.
- Write, edit, and adapt content for different platforms to maintain a clear, consistent voice.
- Repurpose top-performing content and continuously test new ideas to increase reach and impact.
- Build systems that make content easy to find, share, and reuse across marketing and other teams.
- Drive Waymark’s social presence across key platforms — planning, content creation, posting, and audience engagement.
- Develop and execute social campaigns that align with broader marketing goals and spotlight Waymark’s product, customers, and team.
- Create native social content — from posts and graphics to short-form videos — that captures attention and sparks conversation.
- Collaborate with teammates to surface stories, amplify campaigns, and share company updates.
- Track performance and adapt based on insights and trends.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns — from product launches to webinars and events — through creative storytelling and asset creation.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to craft enablement materials and showcase customer success stories.
- Work with freelancers and creative partners to scale production when needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 4–7 years of experience in content marketing, creative strategy, or brand marketing (ideally in B2B SaaS or creative tech).
- Experience working in a startup or early-stage company where you’ve built programs from scratch.
- A storyteller at heart who loves to experiment with formats and platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and creative production skills.
- Deep understanding of social platforms and what drives engagement.
- Experience working cross-functionally with design and growth teams.
- Excited to build new programs, not just maintain existing ones.
- Bonus: Experience with design, video production, AI tools, or creative SaaS platforms.
