Sr. Closing Officer, VSBA Closing Department - USA

VelocitySBA provides small business owners with access to growth capital through the SBA loan program. We are seeking a motivated individual to lead the closing process for complex SBA loans and provide guidance to junior staff. The role involves managing a high-volume pipeline of SBA loan closings, ensuring compliance with SBA SOPs, and providing excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of SBA Closing experience (7(a) required; 504 preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of SBA SOPs, 7(a) and 504 program rules, and closing procedures
• Strong understanding of business financials, collateral documentation, title/escrow procedures, and legal documentation
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and deadline-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple closings simultaneously with minimal supervision
