Senior React Native Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced senior react native developer for our international client. The role is fully remote but you MUST be based in mainland Europe.

Tasks

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain fast, reliable React Native apps that run smoothly on both iOS and Android.

• Work with bare React Native projects, integrating native modules through JSI and the Bridge when needed.

• Create reusable, responsive UI components using native styling and CSS or SCSS.

• Implement core mobile features like push notifications, in-app purchases, and OAuth 2.0 authentication.

Native Module Integration

• Integrate and fine-tune third-party native modules, ensuring clean communication between JavaScript and native code.
• Manage iOS and Android builds in Xcode and Android Studio, including TestFlight and Google Internal Release deployments.
• Set up and maintain iOS schemes and Android build variants for multiple environments.

Performance Optimization

• Track down and fix performance issues in both JavaScript and native code using tools like React Native Debugger, Xcode, and Android Studio.
• Deliver smooth animations with Reanimated 2.0+ and manage app state with Redux and react-redux.

Testing & QA

• Write unit and end-to-end tests with Jest and Detox to keep the codebase solid.
• Partner with QA to identify and resolve issues in production, keeping the app stable and users happy.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with bare React Native projects (no Expo).
• Strong background in native module integration, JSI and Bridge, with the ability to debug across JavaScript and native code.
• Solid understanding of Xcode and Android Studio, including iOS schemes and Android build variants.
• Experience signing apps and deploying to TestFlight and Google Internal Release.
• Strong knowledge of React 16+, including hooks, class components, and React Navigation 5+.
• Experience implementing in-app purchases, push notifications, OAuth 2.0, and Reanimated 2+.
• Experience in iGaming is a plus.
