Senior Android TV / Fire TV Engineer (Remote)

This is a fully remote opportunity open to top-tier talent across Mexico and LATAM, working with a U.S.-based team on cutting-edge technology that reaches millions of users.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain high-performance Android TV and Fire TV applications using Kotlin
Own the app lifecycle: from architecture and development to release and post-launch support
Build reusable SDK components and integrate with APIs (REST, JSON-RPC, or gRPC)
Convert Figma designs into production-ready UIs
Ensure optimal app performance, reliability, and responsiveness
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers across time zones

Who You Are

You’re a proven Android TV/Fire TV developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience
You write clean, maintainable Kotlin code and know how to optimize for TV interfaces
You’ve worked on at least one end-to-end TV application, from build to deployment
You have solid experience integrating APIs and building modular SDKs
You’re fluent in English and comfortable communicating with global teams
You’re proactive, curious, and excited about building solutions for large audiences

Bonus Points For

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
Exposure to socket-based APIs or real-time data streaming
Strong monitoring/alerting practices and test coverage know-how
Experience in teams with on-call rotation or incident response
Passion for staying ahead of the curve on Android device trends (TV, tablet, mobile, etc.)
