Job Summary:
This role edits and repurposes video content for social, web, and paid campaigns, turning long form footage into engaging shorts. The editor collaborates on creative direction, manages revisions and assets, and works independently within an agency environment. Strong FinalCut and Davinci skills, personal branding experience,
Core Tasks:
- Edit client and internal videos for a range of uses (social, websites, PPC campaigns, etc)
- Clip long form videos into shorts for advertisements (add music text overlay, graphs, etc)
- Collaborate with the team on engaging and relevant scripts/ prompts for videos
- Work with stakeholders and vendors to understand requirements, timelines & objectives
- Provide timely project updates and solicit feedback throughout the design process
- Edit and iterate on existing creative assets as needed
- Manage and file creative work for easy access and reuse on other projects
- Perform other sales, marketing, and operations tasks as needed to support the team
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years experience with video editing in an agency setting
- Background with video editing for personal branding (agency brands a plus)
- Intermediate - advanced skills with FinalCut and Davinci for video editing and pre / post production
- Hands on experience creating shorts for social media (reels, YouTube shorts, etc)
- Demonstrated history working as an individual contributor with a high attention to detail
- Background working as a video editor in an agency setting
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Bilingual (C-level) English communication skills
- Ability to work full-time EST
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in billing / invoice management, preferably in a freelance setting
- Background delivering special projects and working with project management tools
- Familiarity with Gmail and Slack for internal team comms
