Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, and dedicated Head of Psychiatry with excellent pediatric clinical experience and extensive organizational leadership skills. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality psychiatric consultation within a virtual context. Your work will be essential in providing accessible, timely, and effective mental health support to the children and families who need it most.

At this time we are seeking individuals with licenses in: TN, TX, CA, MD, FL, VA, CT, CO. If you are not licensed in one of these states we welcome your application if you are willing and able to obtain this licensure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set overall vision for Triplemoon’s psychiatry function
  • Serve as owner of the Company's affiliated professional corporation(s) including all hiring, training, and oversight of Triplemoon’s psychiatry medical staff including psychiatric advanced practice providers.
  • Support quality assurance
  • Support care planning development through the creation of structured psychiatric medication management recommendations and guidelines
  • Oversee professional development of Triplemoon’s broader clinical team including serving as a primary culture carrier and role model of our pediatric care modelCollaborate with behavioral health care managers and PCPs to review patient caseloads, providing treatment recommendations for patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other behavioral health conditions
  • Conduct weekly systematic caseload reviews to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans
  • Provide indirectpsychiatric consultation on diagnostic clarification, psychopharmacologic treatment options, and complex cases
  • Ensure adherence to measurement-based care (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7, other standardized tools)
  • Participate in the development and delivery of clinical training tools for clinical staff as well as the delivery of educational programming for physician partners
  • Be available for ad-hoc PCP consultation at the PCP’s convenience and support clinical relationships.
  • Assist in creation of PCP-facing educational content around psychiatry management in the primary care setting
  • Document consultations and recommendations clearly in the Triplemoon electronic health record (EHR)
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing quality improvement efforts
  • Stay current with best practices and evolving guidelines in integrated behavioral health
  • Represent Triplemoon’s psychiatry function at industry events as directed by the Company.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted medical license in relevant state(s)
  • Experience with Collaborative Care Model, integrated care, or telepsychiatry strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a consultative, team-based role
  • Commitment to population health and improving access to evidence-based mental health care

Compensation: This role is a fractional, salaried W-2 position based on a full-time salary of $250k.
