TransMedics is pioneering the future of organ transplantation by introducing the Organ Care System (OCS™), which represents the only FDA-approved technology for lung, heart, and liver transplantation indication in the U.S. This novel solution addresses the challenges of traditional cold storage methods, enabling effective preservation and transportation of vital organs. The OCS™ technology ensures that organs remain in a functioning state, which is essential for maximizing transplant success rates. The company also operates a National OCS™ Program (NOP™) that aims to eliminate the time and distance limitations typically associated with organ transportation.

TransMedics provides comprehensive technology and expert clinical service solutions designed to enhance heart and lung transplant volumes. Their focus on improving clinical outcomes while reducing the learning curve for medical teams is integral to their mission. By optimizing resource usage and offering solutions to common hurdles such as ischemic time, TransMedics works to ensure that transplant programs can operate more efficiently, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes and a systematic improvement in healthcare standards.
