THE POSITION

We’re looking for a Golang developer (Crawler Fixer), the role within our development team, focused on maintaining and enhancing our data crawling capabilities. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of Golang and HTML, who is eager to dive into the mechanics of web crawling and data extraction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and troubleshoot our web crawlers to identify and resolve issues preventing data collection.

• Analyze and understand website structures to accurately fix selectors within our crawlers.

• Update and maintain crawler configurations to ensure optimal performance and data accuracy.

• Stay updated with the latest in web technologies and crawling strategies to continuously improve our processes.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge of Golang.

• Understanding of HTML and web page structures.

• CSS and Xpath Selectors

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently on troubleshooting tasks.

• Understanding of PHP will be a plus

• Fluent English is essential

• Fully remote position

• Must be able to work at least 6-8 hours in U.S. time zone
