What You Will Accomplish Here… This position will be responsible for solving complex regulatory issues for both regulators and gaming technology suppliers. This will be a billable position expected to generate revenue growth and provide exceptional value to GLI clients. This position will effectively support our clients by focusing on the following:

  • Identifying strategic technical and regulatory challenges while acting as primary client and internal team technology expert.
  • Leading complex projects involving new or emerging technology, while developing and employing in-depth brand, marketing, and industry knowledge.
  • Working with GLI customer service teams to win and grow client engagements, by providing technical support and developing messaging relating to assigned regulatory markets.
  • Achieving portfolio financial goals and activate regulatory and supplier/operator’s business objectives.
  • Developing and driving the vision and strategy for how we engage clients on complex technical projects, including deployment of new technology in various regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Playing an essential role in developing and leading the client solutions strategies for customer engagement, implementation, and retention.
  • Responsible for ownership of key client presentations relating to regulatory acceptance and approval of new technology, as well as coordinating agendas aimed at efficient and productive meetings.
  • Working with internal and external teams to coordinate solutions for gaming operators that use a diverse group of technology providers and create roadmaps for successful project launches and on-time/on-budget testing delivery.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting to GLI stakeholders’ potential changes in legislation, regulation, and regulatory interpretations in assigned markets and to be a resource to government leaders in that jurisdiction.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Advanced Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
  • A deep understanding of digital platforms, tools, technologies, and trends, and a passion for innovation on all fronts is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in a complex problem-solving role involving technology and regulation.
  • Advanced knowledge of gaming industry technology or technology in a related field.
  • Experience creating and delivering convincing presentations to senior-level clients.
  • Proven strategic expertise and business communication acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in collaborative decision-making across technology, sales, and customer teams.
  • Natural leadership and networking abilities.
  • Ability to problem-solve with a balanced analytical and creative approach.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven project management leadership skills.
  • Comfortable with translating business challenges into solutions.
  • This position may work remotely but must be willing to travel extensively, which averages 33% but at times may be as much as 50%.
