The Medical Director is a licensed Physician who provides clinical oversight and administrative support for the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered care at their assigned clinical site(s) and/or program.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Active board certification in primary care or an applicable specialty
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas and maintain active DEA registration
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership in a healthcare setting
- Prior supervisory experience of advanced practice providers required
