Role: Packaging & Digital Creative Specialist

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Marketing team, the Packaging & Digital Creative Specialist is responsible for maintaining and evolving product packaging, website content, sales materials, and digital marketing assets across Sun Gro’s portfolio of brands. This role focuses on updating existing packaging and extending that work across digital platforms, while producing high-quality static, motion, and video creative that supports product launches, sales initiatives, and brand consistency.

Job Responsibilities

Packaging Design & Maintenance
• Update and maintain existing product packaging across multiple brands and SKUs
• Manage packaging updates related to formulation changes, regulatory requirements, claims updates, and branding adjustments
• Prepare production-ready packaging files for print and manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, regulatory guidelines, and sustainability messaging
• Coordinate timelines and updates with internal stakeholders and external vendors

Sales & Marketing Materials
• Create and update selling materials including brochures, sell sheets, one-pagers, presentations, and trade materials
• Update product claims, specifications, and visuals based on input from Marketing and Sales teams
• Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and formatting across all sales enablement assets
• Support product launches, customer meetings, and trade events with creative materials

Website Maintenance & Content Management
• Maintain and update Sun Gro websites to ensure content accuracy and relevance
• Update product imagery, specifications, and technical content
• Publish and manage blog and editorial content
• Collaborate with Marketing and IT on site improvements and content refreshes
• Ensure strong user experience, visual consistency, and brand alignment

Digital & Print Asset Creation (Static, Motion & Video)
• Create digital assets for use across YouTube, LinkedIn, email, social media, and digital campaigns
• Design static graphics, short-form motion content, and video aligned with campaign objectives
• Edit and optimize video content for multiple platforms and formats
• Support product launches, promotional campaigns, and trade events with digital and print creative
• Manage asset versions, formats, sizing, and delivery across platforms

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and R&D teams
• Support agency and vendor collaboration as needed
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including timelines, revisions, and approvals

• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging design, digital design, or creative production
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Experience managing website content using a CMS (WordPress preferred)
  • Strong understanding of digital formats, social media specifications, and video best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong file management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in CPG, horticulture, agriculture, or regulated industries
• Knowledge of packaging production processes and print specifications
• Motion graphics and video editing experience
• Experience supporting multi-brand portfolios

Work Environment & Requirements

• Remote work location acceptable

• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and time zones
