Retention Specialist (Clinical) to support overall participant recruitment and retention in clinical studies, working closely with research coordinators, investigators, and study teams to provide participant support, address concerns, and implement engagement strategies. Responsible for designing and executing patient recruitment, developing and implementing study plans, building and maintaining relationships with sites, CROs, and vendors, and conducting market research to understand patient needs and barriers to participation.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, plus 5+ years of relevant experience (includes Site, SMO, CRO, and/or Sponsor experience)
- Experience with participant/patient interactions in a clinical setting/research setting is desired
- Deep understanding of the clinical trial process and the ability to develop and implement successful recruitment and retention strategies
- Strong analytical skills with experience in understanding trial metrics, analyzing trends and adjusting to meet goals in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Capable of managing multiple timelines and projects while working with cross-functional groups
- Attention to detail and organizational
- Willingness to travel to clinical research sites, investigator meetings and other initiatives as needed
