Role Description: Cloud, Data & AI Engineer (Core Team Role)

Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi (Hybrid with Remote Flexibility)

We’re looking for a Cloud, Data & AI Engineer to join us as a core team member—a builder at heart who wants to own what they create, shape our product vision, and help define how modern AI solutions are built and scaled.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop intelligent AI agents using ML, NLP, and other AI techniques to automate tasks and deliver decision-support.

• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analytics using modern big data tools.

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems and applications, creating seamless and scalable solutions.

• Develop data models, warehousing, and ETL/ELT workflows that ensure data quality and usability.

• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure, data systems, and AI models for performance and scalability.

• Collaborate across functions - working with founders, analysts, and clients to deeply understand real-world needs and deliver high-impact solutions.

• Contribute to our engineering culture, driving best practices in DevOps, security, governance, and AI development.

• Stay on the cutting edge by researching and applying emerging technologies in AI, data, and cloud engineering.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, data, or AI engineering roles.

• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data/AI tools.

• Experience building scalable data pipelines using tools like Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.

• Familiarity with ML algorithms, NLP, and AI agent frameworks.

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.

Bonus Points For

• Experience in industries like oil & gas, finance, or public sector.

• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Familiarity with AI agent platforms or orchestration frameworks.

• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

• Relevant certifications on any of the leading data platforms (Cloudera, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks etc.)
