The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR) is seeking an actuary to perform complex calculations to determine compliance with state insurance laws and make recommendations for action. The actuary will also be responsible for reporting, analyzing, and interpreting statutorily required data and statistics, as well as serving as a consultant on legislative issues and conducting studies or projects.
Requirements
- Member of the Casualty Actuarial Society
- Enrolled actuary
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, business, finance, or insurance
- Five years of professional actuarial experience
