Virtual Medical Receptionist - ModMed Experience Required

About the Role:
Staffing for Doctors is looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Medical Receptionist with ModMed experience to become a vital part of our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our patients while efficiently managing administrative tasks utilizing the ModMed software. You will be the first point of contact, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. Your proficiency with ModMed will be essential in bringing efficiency to the office operations and enhancing patient care.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and manage patient inquiries with professionalism and care
• Schedule appointments using ModMed and ensure effective calendar management
• Update and maintain patient records accurately in the ModMed system
• Educate patients about services and assist with any pre-visit preparations
• Facilitate seamless communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies
• Assist with check-ins and follow-up communications for a smooth patient experience
• Contribute to the overall management of the medical front desk operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative position
• Hands-on experience with ModMed software is a must
• Strong understanding of medical office processes and procedures
• Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and patient-oriented attitude
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting
• Knowledge of insurance processes is desirable
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and handling sensitive information
