We are seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to support our sales team in reviewing and negotiating customer agreements and providing legal support for revenue-generating activities in the Americas and APAC. The role will be remote and based in the Pacific Time Zone.
Requirements
- Strong academic credentials and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with strong training at a top-rated national or international law firm. Law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and closing complex commercial software and SaaS agreements with enterprise customers, partners, and resellers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of commercial legal issues related to SaaS and software licensing, professional services, and other go-to-market programs.
- Excellent judgment, strong business orientation, and ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills and the ability to build trust with sales teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
