Socket is seeking a VP of Engineering to scale the engineering organization from 40 to 80+ people while protecting velocity, code quality, and culture. The role involves designing an operating system that works, building technical leadership, eliminating operational friction, and owning delivery on major cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

Scalable engineering organization from 40 to 80+ people
Operational leadership to keep the organization unblocked and coordinated
Technical leadership to shape architecture decisions and keep the team executing with urgency
Hands-on technical credibility to make better trade-off decisions
Complex cross-functional programs management
Experience with security or supply chain security
