Lead Integration Engineer

Overview

We’re seeking a skilled Cloud with strong AWS experience to design, build, and support modern cloud‑based solutions in an Agile environment. In this role, you’ll work hands‑on with serverless architecture, IaC using Terraform, integration technologies, CI/CD automation, and secure cloud deployments.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions, provide production support, improve platform reliability, and contribute to ongoing cloud transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and evaluate complex solutions in a collaborative Agile environment
• Build and deploy software based on established requirements, providing input on system design and feasibility
• Support and troubleshoot production environments, communicating effectively with stakeholders and recommending improvements in development and maintenance practices
• Assist in designing infrastructure configurations and identify opportunities for process optimization
• Review and implement complex patches, upgrades, and software packages, including code deployment
• Create and maintain technical documentation (use cases, scripts, etc.), perform technical research, and stay current with emerging technologies
• Collaborate in cross‑functional initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Position may require extended hours, on‑call participation, and occasional travel (up to 15%)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Cloud (Serverless, Lambda, RDS, Storage, EC2, migration services), Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with Messaging and integration technologies including AWS API Gateway
• Programming with NodeJS, Python or Java, and working with JSON/XML
• Creating alerts, metrics, and monitoring dashboards
• Security fundamentals: IAM, Kerberos, authorization, encryption
• Experience with IBM ACE, WebSphere MQ, API‑SG, MQ, MFT is a plus
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to design innovative solutions aligned to business needs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
• Solid understanding of modern programming concepts, design, implementation, and testing
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to gather requirements, assess existing systems, and identify risks
