About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Bilingual Clinical Support Specialist (Spanish-English) with a nursing or healthcare background to support a U.S.-based clinical team.
In this role, you will manage patient communications in both Spanish and English, coordinate care, and support clinical and administrative workflows while ensuring accuracy, empathy, and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Bilingual Patient Communication & Care Coordination
Communicate with patients in Spanish and English via phone, text, email, and secure patient portals
Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups using EMR/EHR systems
Reinforce provider-directed care instructions within scope (no diagnosing or prescribing)
Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and continuity of care
Provide compassionate and professional support to patients and families
Clinical Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records
Support billing documentation and insurance coordination as needed
Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and U.S. healthcare regulations
Utilize approved digital and AI-supported tools to assist with documentation structuring and workflow efficiency (AI supports workflow only — not clinical decision-making)
Required Qualifications
Nursing education or clinical healthcare experience required (CNA, MA, RN, or similar preferred)
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Minimum English proficiency: B2+ (professional written and verbal communication required)
At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare, telehealth, or medical office setting
Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
Experience using EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Athena, Kareo, SimplePractice, or similar)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in a remote setting
Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance
Availability during U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
Background in home health, telemedicine, or outpatient care
Knowledge of medical billing or prior authorization processes
Experience with remote patient coordination
Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or CRM systems
Exposure to AI-assisted documentation tools
